Dear Layla Lynn,
Whew...What a summer we had...
Let's start it off here....
Aunt Tammi came home for a visit! It was so good seeing her. You played dress up with her and got in lots of hugs and kisses. We won't see her again until the end of September. She has decided to stay in Wyoming. We are so happy for her, but will miss her tons!!!
We went down to Main Street to watch the 4th of July parade and celebrate great Grandpa Vinny's Birthday. You clapped at every float that went by and danced your little heart out.
We went and watched Papa play ball at the park as much as we could this summer. You met a new friend named Ty, you two played tag. You would giggle and yell, "I get you!"
We got in lots of hugs and kisses with Dramma before our BIG trip back to Meme and Pop-ays.
We drove to Aunt Chelsea's in Denver the night before we flew to Ohio....
You were so happy to see all of your cousins! Finally, more kids to play with.
You and Mya we instant BFF's.
You found Meme's closet. Couldn't resist her shoes either!
Meme took you and all the cousins to a kiddy park to ride fun rides. Momma and Papa thought you would be too scared to ride on anything. Boy were they wrong! You rode every one of them, even the ROLLER COASTER!!! You and Sarah were right in the front row of the roller coaster!
We had so much fun with everyone! And we were all so happy you got to meet every one back home!
The day we were set to fly out we ended up missing a pilot for our plane. Instead of waiting all day to fly home Momma and Papa asked to change our flight for the next morning. So we got one last night with Meme, Pop-ay, Sarah, Molly and Aunt BB!
You and Papa said, "who needs a pilot?! We can fly anything!'
Once back in CO, we stayed a night with Aunt Chelsea and she took us to the DENVER ZOO!!
You were so excited. We kept telling you about all the great animals you'd see.

It was a fun day!!
Once we got home and rested up from our travels, Dramma invited us to a baseball game.
You had so much fun cheering, singing and clapping.
Momma and Papa can't believe how big you're getting...and so beautiful....
So beautiful that Momma's best friend asked you to be a flower girl in her wedding!
We excitedly accepted! The day before the wedding we tried on your dress. Well a tutu...YOU WERE NOT HAPPY! You are not a fan of tutus. Momma was so worried you wouldn't want to wear your outfit at all.
The day of the wedding we adjusted your tutu to a skirt rather than a dress...you loved it! And Momma bribed you with suckers throughout the day to keep you in it.
You and another girl were set to walk down the aisle together.
You both were so pretty!
You didn't get how to throw the petals for the bride...but were still so cute!
After the ceremony Momma and Papa asked if you wanted to change...you said "NO!" And they couldn't get you out of the tutu from then on.
We finally got you out of it, but the boots...YOU LOVE THEM and wear them with everything !!!
At the very last minute ... Momma and Papa decided to send you to preschool. They want to prepare you for school and become more sociable. You go Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday each week from 8am-noon.
Momma was so worried about your first day. She didn't want you to feel scared to abandoned.

When you were in school, Momma gathered a great surprise for when you came home.
You were so excited for the cake and of course to return to school the next day.
You received your first A+! Momma and Papa are again and always so PROUD of you!
You survived your first week of school. THAT CALLED FOR A CELEBRATION!! Ice cream!
Momma and Papa can't believe how big you're getting and so fast!
