AFTERNOON RIDES....



 

 Dear Layla Bug,

 

Boy o' boy has it been busy around here.  We have so much to write to you about.  Momma got a  part-time job, does school still, keeps the house going, it's been busy, busy!  We will start first with the afternoon truck ride Papa took you on a few weeks back.  You were so excited!!!

Dear Layla Bug,

 

Sorry Momma and Papa haven't wrote to you, the blog wasn't letting us upload your cutesy pictures!  Happy it's resolved now.  We've been really busy with you....

 

 

We've been playing dress up more...

We're so happy you like to try on your hats now.  You pick out hats of yours for Momma and Papa to wear too. 

We made a maraca at Barnes and Noble for story time one day.

 



 

We goofed around.

 

We dressed up.

 

We played doctor.

On the morning of January 18th, 2013 Momma heard you wake up, as she walked out into the hallway she saw you standing in your bedroom doorway. 
TIME FOR A BIG GIRL BED!!

And that's exactly what we did...

 



You were so excited!!  You squeeled and danced around.

 



 

At first you kept getting up and coming into Momma and Papa's room, but after awhile you finally layed your head to rest.

Since then you get up once or twice a night and pitter patter into Momma and Papa's room, mostly you just want more milk!

 

 

You're so fly....

 

Momma and Dramma took you to the mall and signed you up in the "Kiddis Club" so we could watch a Cinderella ballet and meet "Cinderella".  You knew she wasn't the real Cinderella cause her hair was dark! 

 

Playing with Papa's tools is always fun.

Papa made a robot for you...HOW SILLY!

You wanted to be a robot too...

 

 

 

Meme and Pop-ay sent you a microphone to sing with....You love pushing the buttons on it.  You only sing sometimes, but when you do it's usually someting from Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast.

 

You sure are a CUTEY!

HAPPY NEW YEAR...2013!!

Dear Layla Lynn,

 

 

Well another year has come and gone.  We are so proud of all the great things you accomplished in 2012.  You are becoming quite the little lady.

 

 

We didn't do too much on this New Year's Eve.

 

 

 

Read some books really.....



 

 

 

Ate some yogurt....

 

Played tickle monster with Papa...

 

Built whatever with your legos...

 

Stuff like this....

CHRISTMAS 2012....

 

Dear Layla,

 

 

We had a GREAT Christmas this year!!  And guess who Momma and Papa caught downstairs.....SANTA?!  Momma and Papa were making sure that all your gifts from us were in order when we caught him!

 

Oh my gosh!!!  Can you believe it???  Maybe next year we will catch him again.  

 

 

 



 

 He told Momma and Papa to make sure you wouldn't try and peek at your gifts till morning.  After Santa flew to the next house Momma and Papa thought of a plan....

 

 

We even did it to your door too..hehehehe

 

You woke up about 8:30am Christmas morning.  At first you weren't sure about the the obstacles in your door way and the hallway, but you held Momma's hand and dashed on through them.

 

We got lots of video of you opening gifts.

This year Santa brought you a tricycle!  You're still too short to use the pedals but that's ok...You'll get there.  You loved ripping open your gifts.  You made sure every piece of wrapping paper was off each present.  Momma and Papa were so thrilled you were enjoying yourself.

You also got a play vanity, books, clothes, dolls, games, and much much more.

 

After we got dressed we headed to Aunt Tammi and Aunt Helen's.  You had lot's of gifts there too!

 

Aunt Tammi got you a BIG present!

 

A ton of DIsney Princess books with a magic wand and flashlight!!!  You kept saying, "Oh my gosh!!" 

 

Little Baby Delilah even came over to celebrate.  She slept most of the day, but you made sure she was ok and checked on her frequently.

 

You and Aunt Tammi enjoyed a movie and cuddle time before lunch.

 

One of your favorite gifts was from Aunt Helen.  Your first jewelery box.  It's pink and has Ladybug's on it.

 



 

What a GOOD Christmas huh!?  Can't wait till next year!!

THERE'S A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING...

 

Dear Layla Bug,

 

 

It's Christmas Eve!!!  And we got TONS of snow today!!  Papa took you out in the snow again...and even Momma came too for the first time this winter in the snow!!!  

 

 

Your favorite part about the snow is eating it!  You get a big 'ol ball and eat it up!

 

You even shared with Momma.

You finally wanted to try out the potty.

 

You didn't do anything but sit there and pull on the toilet paper.  Hey, atleast you tried!

 

Soon enough Layla Lynn, you'll be out of those diapers!

 

Santa will be here before you know it Layla Lynn.  Momma and Papa know he's bringing you the best gifts!  You've been such a good girl this year.
