YOUR FIRST AIR SHOW



Dear Layla Buggy,

Papa's work had their Air Show come to town again.  We were so excited to take you and show you the planes.  We went to the Friday night show since they had a fire works display and didn't have all the crazy noisy planes, like the blue angels.  Dramma was there too, working for the Fire Department.  When you saw her you gave her the biggest hug and didn't want to let go...

You just love that Dramma of yours....

We got special tickets that let us into a tent with food, drinks, and front row seats to see the show...You had a lot of cookies and "Cheers'd" everyone at our table.

You kept looking up to the sky yelling, "Airplane"

You kept tellin' Papa, "Look Papa, AIRPLANE!! Up there!"

This was a hang glider that shot fireworks off in the sky ...Your favorite part.  You kept saying scary ,but then right after yelled, "WOO HOO!" and giggled with excitement.

We are so happy you liked all the airplanes you saw!

ADVENTURES WITH AUNT "TEMMI"

 

 

Layla Layla Sweet Potata (your Dramma made this one up hehe),

 

 

You already know this, but you LOVE your Aunt Tammi!  You actually call her Aunt Temmi (hehehe).  This past weekend you cried out "Aunt Temmi" all day and looked for her all over the house.  Finally Momma called Aunt Temmi so you two could talk, but that just wasn't enough.  We ended up going to Aunt Temmi and Aunt Helen's house to have some fun.  And Boy 'O Boy you sure did have fun....

 

 

You and Aunt Temmi jumped on her bed for awhile....All we heard were giggles and laughter coming from the bedroom.  SILLY MONKEY'S!



 

 

You also danced in the living for a long time, we took cute videos of both of you dancing your booties off.

 

Sunday, we decided to go to lunch where Aunt Temmi works.  You were just as thrilled as ever. 

 

Aunt Temmi brought you a special treat...An Ice cream cookie sundae.  You actually call it I-Cream.  The cherries were your favorite part of the treat.

 

Not only did she bring you ice cream, but also 3 BALLOONS!!!  Yellow, Green, and Pink. 

 

You can name the color of each balloon and point to them perfectly!  SMARTY PANTS!

 

We're sure you and Aunt Temmi will have many, many more adventures together.

     Your little imagination brightens our world.  Your sweet little smile warms our hearts.  Your adorable giggle sparks a smile on everyones face.  The love you bring into our lives gets bigger and bigger.

Bo was trying to nap one afternoon, you insisted on reading him a bedtime story.

 

Today we decided to have you try out your big girl cup....

 

You spilled a little bit, but you drank your milk like a champ!

 

It's potty training time at our house.  Although, you haven't gone in the princess potty yet, Monkey sure has....

 

and Muno too.

 

What fun you have with Papa and I...You just love trying on his sunglasses.

THESE ARE A FEW OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS...

Our Sweet Layla Buggy,

 

     Your second Birthday is right around the corner.  Papa and I want to show you some of the things you've come to love this past year.  There are so many things, but here are most of the things you absolutely LOVE!

 

 

You love helping your Papa with anything he is working on.  Here you learned how to screw in a nail....



 

Read the directions on how to build stuff....

 



 

And how to hammer in a nail.  You are such a great assistant.

 

Your favorite activity is COLORING.

 

Oh and we can't forget.....STICKERS!  You love peeling stickers and placing them on top of each other on your arms, legs, feet, hands, paper, toys, the carpet, well let's just say almost everything.

 

One person you've really come to know and love is your Aunt Tammi.  Everyday you run around saying, "Aunt Temmi".  You even call your Dramma Aunt Temmi.  Or you ask us, "Where's Aunt Temmi?" We're so happy you two are close.

 

Recently in the past month, you've overcome your fear of riding your 4-Wheeler Papa and I bought you.  You point to all the stickers on it and say, "Princess".

 

Your very favorite show is Yo Gabba Gabba.  You just say, "Yo Gaba".  If you could you would watch this show all day long.  You try to sing and dance to all the songs they perform.  Your favorite character is Muno.

 

These are the three things you cannot do anything without.  "Monk", "NeNe" your yellow, polka-dot blanket, and "Muno".  You won't sleep unless they are all close by your side.

 

 

 

We can't wait till you come to learn and love more things as you grow.  And no matter what those things are, always know we LOVE you more than anything!
