CHRISTMAS 2012....

 

Dear Layla,

 

 

We had a GREAT Christmas this year!!  And guess who Momma and Papa caught downstairs.....SANTA?!  Momma and Papa were making sure that all your gifts from us were in order when we caught him!

 

Oh my gosh!!!  Can you believe it???  Maybe next year we will catch him again.  

 

 

 



 

 He told Momma and Papa to make sure you wouldn't try and peek at your gifts till morning.  After Santa flew to the next house Momma and Papa thought of a plan....

 

 

We even did it to your door too..hehehehe

 

You woke up about 8:30am Christmas morning.  At first you weren't sure about the the obstacles in your door way and the hallway, but you held Momma's hand and dashed on through them.

 

We got lots of video of you opening gifts.

This year Santa brought you a tricycle!  You're still too short to use the pedals but that's ok...You'll get there.  You loved ripping open your gifts.  You made sure every piece of wrapping paper was off each present.  Momma and Papa were so thrilled you were enjoying yourself.

You also got a play vanity, books, clothes, dolls, games, and much much more.

 

After we got dressed we headed to Aunt Tammi and Aunt Helen's.  You had lot's of gifts there too!

 

Aunt Tammi got you a BIG present!

 

A ton of DIsney Princess books with a magic wand and flashlight!!!  You kept saying, "Oh my gosh!!" 

 

Little Baby Delilah even came over to celebrate.  She slept most of the day, but you made sure she was ok and checked on her frequently.

 

You and Aunt Tammi enjoyed a movie and cuddle time before lunch.

 

One of your favorite gifts was from Aunt Helen.  Your first jewelery box.  It's pink and has Ladybug's on it.

 



 

What a GOOD Christmas huh!?  Can't wait till next year!!

THERE'S A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING...

 

Dear Layla Bug,

 

 

It's Christmas Eve!!!  And we got TONS of snow today!!  Papa took you out in the snow again...and even Momma came too for the first time this winter in the snow!!!  

 

 

Your favorite part about the snow is eating it!  You get a big 'ol ball and eat it up!

 

You even shared with Momma.

 

Little snow kisses.

 

You tried convering Papa up in the snow.

You finally wanted to try out the potty.

 

You didn't do anything but sit there and pull on the toilet paper.  Hey, atleast you tried!

 

Soon enough Layla Lynn, you'll be out of those diapers!

 

Santa will be here before you know it Layla Lynn.  Momma and Papa know he's bringing you the best gifts!  You've been such a good girl this year.

ALL THE PRETTY LIGHTS...

Dear Layla,

 

 

Momma and Papa took you to see some Christmas lights a few nights ago.  We only knew of one place that actually goes all out for "Christmas Time" as you call it.

 

 

This is the best part of the neighborhood.  In front of these houses is a lake.  All the lights light it up.  It's so pretty.  You Really loved it too!

 

 

You kept saying..."Oh wow!  Look, Christmas time!  See, ooooo"

 

 

The whole neighborhood comes together every year to make it beautiful.

 

After we saw all the lights in the one neighborhood Momma remembered where the Giswald's where....

 

See... What'd we tell ya!!

 

ONLY 11 MORE DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS BUG!

ANOTHER SNOW DATE WITH PAPA....

 

Dear Layla,

 

You knew the snow would melt soon, you watched out the back window as it started to disappear.  You looked at Momma and said, "Papa home? SNOW!!"  As soon as Papa came home he took you out to play....

"Here we go....THROW!"

 

You said to Papa, "C'mon!"....You headed to the slides...

 

Weeeeeeeeee.....

 

Down you went.

 

Papa is so thrilled you love snow as much as him!  Hopefully we get a lot of snow next time to build a snowman!

WEEKEND FUN....

Dear Layla,

 

 

Last night was the Annual Parade Of Lights, since the temperature here has been really warm Papa and Momma decided to take you down town to see all the floats and lights.  Aunt Tammi and Aunt Helen even joined in.

 

We still got all bundled up though, just incase...

 

 

As we waited for the parade to start you danced and skipped around.

 

We didn't get any pictuers of the parade, but it sure was pretty.

You got to have some sweets and were WiReD!

 

After we got home and had dinner Papa surprised you with a ginger bread house to decorate.

 

The frosting sure was yummy huh?

 

You did a great job decorating with the candies...and of course eating them.

 

Great job BUG!

 

After learning the temperature would be in the low 60's today, we went to the park to play!

 

You are never afraid to go down slides alone!

You started on the little one first....

 

Then proceeded to the BIG one.

 

Papa should you how to go down on your belly.

 

Papa's so great at helping you get up the stairs...

 

And you were so sweet returning the favor...

 



 

Papa loves showing you how to be adventerous.

 

 

You did make it all the way to the top!

 

 



We love all our adventure weekends with you Layla Lynn.  And we know there will be many more to come.
