Due to technical issues, we had to start a new blog. Craziness!!
Dearest Layla Bug,
Momma's dream when you were born was to be able to stay home with you till you we old enough to attend school. Her dream finally came true this summer. Papa was so kind enough to let me stay home with you and attend college online while he went to work everyday to take care of us. You already know this, but will really know more when you get older, your Papa is the BEST! And we both love him more than anything!!
Lately, you've been intrigued with helping out around the house. So, Papa and I have assigned you 2 chores to do daily.
Your first chore is feeding Bo and Walter. You do a very good job at this!
You scoop out the food....

Then pour it in their bowls, and say, "There you go!"
Your second chore is helping unload the clean dishes from the dishwasher. Although, you still don't quite understand when the dishes are dirty or clean. When we try to load dirty dishes in the washer you automatically pull the dishes out. Papa and I just giggle and reload them back in. You're too SWEET!
We sure hope you still like doing chores when you're older. HA, fat chance right?!

I am proud of both you and Tegan for working together to keep a tight budget so that you can stay home with Laylabug! I know she is learning so much from her mommy all day long! Her Papa sure teaches her so much too! Good job the both of you! Keep it up! I can almost hear her saying "Here you go"~ Love it!
ReplyDeleteI just read your letter to Sarah and she can't believe Layla has the SAME chores that she has! Way to go on getting her started early! It will pay off in the end :)
