GETTING BUSY.....

Dear Layla,

 

 

Girl, you and your Momma have been busy, busy, busy.  And you have been getting busy with learning new phrases and words like, "It's so cute!" and "Are you scared? Why?" and "Pumpkin" and "Beautiful" WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU! Momma took you to get your 2 year check up at your doctors.  You are growing perfectly, you're 34.1 inches tall and weigh 30 pounds. 

 

Momma took you to see Kristine to get your hair done.....

 

 

Just a little trim..You and Momma are growing their hair out long and pretty.

 

Two cutie Blondies...

 

You love cuddle time with Momma in the afternoons...Momma loves that you love to snuggle...and hopes you always will.

 

We sure have fun with you on rides in the car...Usually to see Aunt Tammi or Dramma...

 

And who can forget fun weekends with Uncle Jeremy!

 

Something very special happened on October 26 at 6pm....Your new little cousin Delilah Sage Gray was born.

Your Great Aunt Helen is in love....We can't wait to meet this precious girl!  You will have a new friend to play with.

 

We carved pumpkins this last weekend.  You weren't that into it, but stuck around to watch Papa, Momma, and Uncle Jeremy get gooey and slimey...

 

We gave you your markers to color your pumpkin...

 

But really you were more interested in what the rest of us were doing.

 

"Look in there Layla..Pumpkin brains...eeeewww."

Papa is silly!

 



 

After you saw us pick our pumpkin pictures you had to have one for yours...Decisions, decisions.

 

"EEEWWWW"

 

Momma did the 1st "Swirly" pumpkin, Papa did the 2nd "Bo" pumpkin, Uncle Jeremy did the 3rd "Bat" pumpkin, and yours was the "Ladybug" pumpkin of course, that Papa carved for you.  You call them LaylaBugs....

 

We can't wait till Halloween to take you Trick-or-Treating for your first time!!

 

 

Papa came home from work today and promised to take you on your first ride in the truck...You were so excited.

 

Papa just drove you around the block, but that was enough for you to really fall in love....
