PUMPKIN PATCH FUN....

Dearest Layla Bug,

 

Momma and Papa finally took you to the pumpkin patch.  You didn't understand the meaning of "pumpkin patch," but knew it must be fun from the excitement in Momma and Papa's voices.

 

Momma nor Papa have ever been here, but were sure excited when we pulled up...

 

 

After we paid our admission we grabbed a wagon and headed for the fun.

The first stop we made was to see the animals the patch had to offer.  You weren't too into the animals,

 

but said "Hi" anyways..

 

 

Momma's favorite were the little piggy's...

 

We were all wowed by the field of pumpkins.  We're sure there were a lot more pumpkins when they first opened, but we still had many to choose from.

 

First thing we did was climb to the top of some hay bails to...

 

A HUGE slide!

 

Momma was so surprised that you weren't scared of it at all...In fact you pulled Papa down and said, "C'mon!"

 

"Weeeeeeeeeeee..."

 

After a few slide rides we made our way over to two huge orange bump 'n jumps.

 

You were having such a blast!

 

Ready for a break, we made our way towards the field of pumpkins.

 

You enjoyed the ride...

 



 

 

You and Papa ventured out to find the perfect pumpkins.

 

We found one for Papa, one for Momma, and a "Baby pumpkin" for Layla Bug.

 

And then it was back to jumping...Momma forgot her socks so she wasn't aloud to jump.

 

And more slide rides.

 

Papa found another way to get to the top of the slide...

 

You'll follow him anywhere.

 

Momma went down the slide a few times too.  It was such a fun afternoon.  Can't wait till we can go again next year. 

And guess what?! 

Halloween is in 2 days!!!

A BIG PRINCESS BIRTHDAY....

~HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY OUR LITTLE PRINCESS~

 

 

It has been such a blessing watching you grow for the past few years....

Amazing how fast time flies...

 

Momma and Papa were in love when we saw you on this 4D ultrasound...Papa smiled and said, "Look she has your nose!"

Your 1st Birthday...

 

 

Your 2nd Birthday....

 

 

And this month we celebrated your 3rd Birthday!

 

Momma and Papa asked what kind of party you wanted this year...You of course chose Disney Princess...You love all the princess'

You and Momma went shopping for all the decorations for the party..

That wore you out.

 

 

You made sure we all looked pretty for the party...Even Papa.

 

Momma started decorating a few days before your party..

Aunt Chelsea was able to make it this year and brought her niece Zoe.

 

You two became instant friends.  The two nights Zoe stayed over, you two shared the floor of your bedroom for a sleepover.  Zoe would say, "Ok Layla let's stay up all night!"  You were just tickled to have a friend over...and of course your answer was "OK!" 

Aunt Chelsea and Momma had to come in a few times and tell you both you needed to sleep up for the party!

 

 

The morning of your party Momma, Papa, and Aunt Chelsea worked very hard to get the party together.

 

 

Aunt Chelsea even decorated your cake!

 

 

 Momma didn't get a lot of pictures, but Dramma did.  Once she shares them Momma will be sure to post them...

Dramma came to the party of course, and Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Kinser, Great Grandpa Vinny, Jeremy and Elliot, Great Aunt Helen and Delilah, and Momma and Papa's friend K and Kendra.

Meme and Pop'ay couldn't make it this year, they'll be here in December though.

They sent you great gifts and love!

You still dress BO up...What a cute Princess he is.

 

It was a memorable 3rd Birthday! 

 

You had your annual Doctor's appointment this month too.  You are very healthy and so smart!

 

AND...................

YOU GOT YOUR CAST OFF!!!!  FINALLY!!

Dr. K took the cast off, but when he examined your arm he noticed you were still a little tender.  He gave you an Ace wrap to keep on for two weeks then we will have another x-ray.  Momma was ok with that.  NO MORE HARD CAST!!!

 

Momma and Papa sure do love you little girl!
